Cape Life Environmental provides land rehabilitation and management services to a range of mining, government and natural resource management clients throughout and beyond the South West.
What we do
We always utilise best practice techniques with a holistic approach to ensure we achieve long term outcomes.
This includes revegetation planning, site preparation, provenance seed collection, relationships with local nurseries for propagation, direct seeding, tube stock and cell planting, and the use of various seedling protection strategies. We also offer a formal maintenance and monitoring program to achieve project longevity.
Plants are always installed carefully to maximise survival rates and efficiently to ensure we achieve our project goals and work within budget parameters. Seedlings can be protected by tree guards in areas where predation and/or weather (i.e strong wind, exposure) may have an impact. Other methods including fencing and predation control.
