The Revegetation Industry Association of Western Australia (RIAWA) has recently released a set of accreditation guidelines for the collection, storage and processing of native seed. This is to ensure minimum standards are set for all aspects of the native seed industry, as well as:
- Improve buyer confidence to all market sectors
- Encourage the professional improvement of all accredited RIAWA members
- Encourage RIAWA members to utilise latest scientific and industry research
- Promote the benefits of trading with accredited RIAWA members
- Improve the profitability of accredited RIAWA members through the implementation of best practice
