Ben miro
Project Manager

Ben completed his studies in 2017 before working in the field of remnant bush land management in urban areas across the Swan Coastal Plain. During this period Ben developed practical knowledge of flora, ecology and environmental management strategies. Ben is now a hardworking project coordinator at Cape Life, with a strong understanding of native seed collection and revegetation projects.
Anthony Swarts
Project Manager
B.Sc. Aquatic science with honours
Anthony Swarts has a wealth of on ground experience in environmental management in the South West region. Tony is currently implementing projects in the Peel- Harvey, Leschenault region and the greater South West with a focus on bulk seed supply for large scale mining rehabilitation.
Mathilde Howell
Dip. Conservation and Land Management, RIAWA accredited
Mathilde (Matilda) has over 10 years experience working in the field of conservation in Perth and south west of WA, including propagation of native plants. Prior to joining Cape Life in 2018, Matilda worked as a mentor for the “Green Army” federal initiative, and on Rottnest as part of the RIA’s Environmental Department. Matilda now holds the position of Seed Processing Coordinator/Environmental Field Technician.
Alex Tandy
Adv. Dip. Visual Art, RIAWA accredited
Alex is an innovative and outcome-based team member, with extensive knowledge of the northern Jarrah Forest. In his 4 years at Cape Life Alex has focused on seed collection and rehabilitation projects on the Darling Scarp, building up extensive knowledge during this time. He is an excellent communicator and brings a dynamic approach to all facets of the job.
Conor Wallace
Cert II, III, and IV Conservation and Land Management
Conor finished his studies in 2020 and joined the Cape Life team in Margaret River in June 2021. Since then he has gained a range of skills in revegetation, seed collection, seed processing and weed management. This has included multiple trips to the Pilbara and Goldfields regions of WA to carry out environmental surveys and weed management projects. Conor is now taking on more responsibility and has a leading role undertaking projects in the South West.
Geoff Devine
Geoff has also been with Cape Life since it’s inception. Geoff has supported various environmental projects during this time and always ensures projects are delivered efficiently, on budget and to specification. Previous to Cape Life he owned a successful business and has many years experience in the agricultural industry.
Kris Olson

Kris has over 10 years experience in the environmental industry with a focus on revegetation, seed collection and invasive species management. Kris has also worked internationally as a Field Biologist in the oil and gas industry in Canada.
